Project Overview
CANPACK Group is developing a major new aluminium beverage can manufacturing facility in Malambo, near Barranquilla, Colombia, supported by a long-term partnership with brewing company Bavaria.
The investment, valued at approximately US$140 million, will establish a modern production facility with an initial capacity of around one billion aluminium cans annually.
The factory is expected to begin production in 2027, strengthening the regional beverage packaging industry and supporting future exports across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Construction activity was confirmed at the site in June 2026.
